Angie Moeller Section: (004) 11:30Technologies role in the classroom: I believe that technology plays an important role in the classroom, no matter what subject one chooses to teach. As a physical education major, technology can be used in various ways such as the use of pedometors and heart rate monitors to maintain safe exercise levels. Software is available to save the data so it can be shared with students, administrators, and parents. Handheld PCs make administrative tasks easier. Finally, teachers can use web pages and mass e-mails to keep parents more informed about activities in physical education.
I feel I am middle of the road when it comes to technology. I enjoy learning about new technological advances. I do feel I have loss some sense of the advancements that I once knew.
